The Sun and the Moon are among the most powerful and enduring symbols in Arabic and Islamic culture. They guide the rhythm of daily life and mark the passage of time, inspiring poetry, philosophy, science, and faith for centuries. The Moon determines the Islamic calendar, shaping the sacred months, while the Sun governs the day, prayer times, and the natural order of life. Together, they embody a cosmic balance, opposites in harmony, light in dialogue with shadow.

Placed on both sides of the highway, these monumental sculptures (the Moon glowing with a soft white radiance and the Sun shimmering with a golden light) stand as timeless guardians on the journey.
